Jenny Lee is the Founder and Education Director of SIMA Classics Education and the Founder of the London International Chopin Competition, a SIMA Classics initiative. She is an internationally active violinist and violist, as well as a classical music education expert specialising in the long-term artistic development of young musicians.

 

Based between London, Seoul, and New York, Jenny works with students and families internationally, bringing together high-level artistic training, educational expertise, and individual mentorship. Her approach extends beyond technical instruction: she supports students in developing strong musical foundations, disciplined practice habits, interpretative awareness, performance confidence, and an enduring relationship with classical music.

 

Through SIMA Classics Education, Jenny has created an environment in which young musicians can access rigorous tuition, artistic mentorship, performance opportunities, masterclasses, and international cultural exchange. Her work is centred on recognising the individual potential of each student and guiding them towards a clear and meaningful artistic direction.

 

Jenny has also supported students preparing applications to highly selective universities in the United States and the United Kingdom. Working in collaboration with educational consulting partners where appropriate, she helps students identify, develop, and articulate their musical achievements through thoughtful repertoire planning, performance experience, artistic projects, and music résumé preparation. Her students have received offers from leading institutions, including Ivy League universities and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, with the support of their music extracurricular portfolios.

 

Jenny mentors students from leading schools and universities, including Eton College, Westminster School, St Paul’s School, St Helen’s School, Garden House School, Caldicott School, Wycombe Abbey, Haberdashers’ Boys’ School, and the University of Cambridge. She works with students across different stages of development, from early training and examination preparation to advanced repertoire, auditions, public performance, and preparation for further study.

 

Alongside her educational work, Jenny maintains an active international performing career. She has appeared at venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Cadogan Hall, the DiMenna Center, Merkin Hall, the Korean Cultural Institute, and the Berlin Artists’ Centre. Her training includes study with Jack Rosenberg of The Juilliard School, Jinhwan Kim, David Derrico, Béla Horváth of the Manhattan School of Music, and Yuri Zhislin at the Royal College of Music.

 

Through her work as a performer, educator, and founder, Jenny is committed to creating serious, inspiring, and internationally connected opportunities for the next generation of musicians.

Artur began playing the piano under the guidance of his mother, pianist Marzena Haftman, and started formal lessons at the age of six with Ewa Kubiak-Kubacka and Jolanta Reszelska. At eight, he made his orchestral debut with the Koszalin Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. He has since won prizes at more than 25 international competitions.

He studied at the Royal College of Music (BMus, MMus and Artist Diploma), where he held the Gary and Eleanor Brass Scholarship and the Carnwath Piano Scholarship. In 2020, he graduated with the Artist Diploma with highest honours, in the class of Professor Dimitri Alexeev and Professor Jianing Kong.

Artur has given recitals and masterclasses in the United Kingdom, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia, Russia, China, South Korea and the United States, including at presidential palaces and philharmonic halls. He has performed with musicians including Professor Tomasz Strahl, Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and cellist Marcin Zdunik. His audiences have included members of the British Royal Family. Following a performance on 15 October 2025, HRH The Duke of Kent remarked, “With you playing, the music can never die” (Daily Mail, 18 October 2025).

As Artistic Director of SIMA Classics, Artur leads the artistic programme of the SIMA Classics Masterclass in Legnica, Poland, which he has organised each summer for five years, and the London International Chopin Competition. In his teaching, he focuses on sound, phrasing and stylistic understanding, helping students develop a personal musical voice alongside secure technique. He works with pianists from early training to advanced level, preparing them for examinations, competitions, scholarship auditions and public performance.

Artur teaches students from Eton College, Harrow School, Wycombe Abbey, Wellington College, Caldicott School, NLCS and Cottesmore School, as well as students at the Royal College of Music.
